So I recently picked up a few models at a bargain but I noticed that they have been slathered with glue. I am curious if anyone has advice on removing it using a chemical that isn't so harsh.

I have used Simple green for cleaning minis but its not good at dissolving the bonds of say Zap a gap.

If the minis are metal I use 100 acetone. That usually takes everything off.

Any thoughts on how long they need to soak? I can't see it being more than an hour but I could be wrong.

I usually let them soak them in a jar for awhile. I can't say how long but I usually let them go for as long as possible which makes less work to remove it all.
